Nandi batlu (Tabernaemontana divaricata)

Crape Jasmine is one of the most common garden flowers found throughout peninsular India. Besides being used for a number of religious ceremonies, the flowers are mixed with oil and used to treat a number of skin-related ailments. The stem when broken exudes a white milky sap which was used by our ancestors to reduce inflammations.
